   Man I HAVE to know about that beat on the stepfather dvd where the P are in the studio and K is cutting '...in the city and I got it like that'
   Man that beat sounds sickly Ill!!
   Don't think anyone else has mentioned it..??
   Anyone know if it's coming out or anything???

   K. I?m resurrecting this topic cause I just watched the DVD (for the somethingith time) and I HAVE to know where I can pick up that track (if it's out) cause it's seriously DOPE.

   I'm hoping it's gonna be the B side for the 3rd single off stepfather.. which I thought was gonna be released for the october tour??

    Ooooh man really? damn. Is that a fact? I can't remember where I read it although I thought it was on this site that the 3rd single would be out in october in time for the uk tour.

    right before stepfather came out, i was listening to earth travelers on repeat several times a day... then i saw the making of it.........
    but my favorite part of the documentary is when thes is talking about the process of the next step and what it took to put it out... with the commentay on. watch that.

    Ok. After much digging, I've found out part of the equation for that part on the DVD where Double K is mixing in the studio. It's taken from the Nonce album, World Ultimate (incredible album) on the track Bus Stops. There's a part after a minute where he says "So if you in the City and you got it like that". But, afraid that's just the MC part, not sure about the beat...

    I made a ringtone out of it. pretty drawn out process, but not complicated.
    
    ripped the dvd to my pc.
    opened the video file with the track into SUPER and created an audio file
    opened the audio file in SoundForge to boost the volume. After watching Thes One's making of the beat, I created a low end filter on the track to give it some umph. Saved that as a seperate file.
    Opened both the audio file and the low end file in Acid. Played with the levels. Created an mp3 of it.
    Re-opened the mp3 in Soundforge to boost volume again.
    Sent file to cellphone via myxer.com
    
    Now its a ringtone! I use it as my roaming ringtone...clever, eh?
    
    I can provide a link to the track if its alright with PUTS and yoyopo. Only problem is that it sounds just it does on the dvd. don;t have the tools or don;t even know if its possible to get it to sound better.
