After 22 years, 12 albums, 250+ songs and countless side projects, People Under The Stairs is recognized by millions of fans across the globe as a genre unto itself. After retiring as the most successful, fully independent Hip Hop duo of all time, The P continue to inspire and bring joy.
Meeting as teenagers at Martin's Record Shop on Pico Blvd in LA, Thes One and Double K quickly developed a lifelong bond through a shared love of music, family, fun and Los Angeles life.
Releasing independently from their debut in 1998 The Next Step until their final album Sincerely, The P in 2019, the duo toured in over 40 countries across six continents and played to the masses at Coachella, Glastonbury, Bonnaroo and Governor's Ball festivals.
A varied career including collaborations with The Simpsons, New World Ales, Vans, George Clinton, Greg Nice, Crown City Rockers, Giant Panda, Ugly Duckling & Starving Artists Crew among others, with numerous solo releases and side projects such as Bloquera (Thes One) or The Brothaload (Double K).
